What's NewPHIA President David Marks presented Sally Stanhope with a "Proudly Perry Hall" Award in honor of her work as Perry Hall librarian.

Honoring Sally Stanhope.  The Perry Hall Improvement Association (PHIA) presented Sally Stanhope, retiring librarian at the Perry Hall branch of the Baltimore County Public Library, with a Proudly Perry Hall award in honor of her service to the community.  She has led the Perry Hall library since 1999, helping to create the Friends of the Perry Hall Library and guiding the transition to a new building, which should open next March.

Election of 2009 Board of Directors.  The PHIA elected the following people to serve on the Board of Directors in 2009: David Marks, President; Debra Beaty, Vice President; Jesse House, Treasurer; Howard Wille, Secretary; and Diane Brazil, Christopher Defeo, Elmer Klein, Kathy Reiner Martin, Ann Palrang, Jeffrey Smith, and Brenda Ward, at-large Directors.
