Fire Stations: Station 55 of the Baltimore County Fire Department is located at 9325 Belair Road.  The White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company is located off Philadelphia Road near Cowenton Avenue and can be reached at (410) 887-5770. 

Medical Services:  Franklin Square Hospital Center is located at 9000 Franklin Square Drive.  The main telephone number is (443) 777-7000.

 

Water, Trash, Nuisance, and Development Issues

Water:  The Baltimore City Department of Public Works operates the county water system.  For billing information, dial (410) 396-5398.vard, across from White Marsh Mall.  The telephone number is (410) 887-5000. 

Garbage Pick-up and Waste Disposal:  Trash pick-up times vary by neighborhood.  The phone number to determine a pick-up schedule is (410) 887-2000.  For bulk waste disposal, the Eastern Sanitary Landfill is located at 6259 Days Cove Road, one mile east of the 11400 block of Pulaski Highway.  Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., except holidays.  For information about what materials are accepted, dial (410) 887-2000.

Animal Control:  The phone number to report animal problems is (410) 887-5961.

Code Violations To report a possible Baltimore County code violation, call the Department of Permits and Development Management at (410) 887-8099, or email pdmenforce@baltimorecountymd.gov.  Frequent problems may include such things as illegal signs, improperly-parked vehicles, or tall grass and weeds.

 

Zoning and Development Issues

Driver Licensing and Voter Registration

Driver Licensing:  The Motor Vehicle Administration's Loch Raven/Parkville Express Office is located at the North Plaza Shopping Center (8966 Waltham Woods Road).   The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
